Hello. I have a Denon AVR-3803 which needs repair. The authorised service centre where i am (pakistan) have identified a few parts which need to be replaced. However, these are not available locally. Is there any site online where i can find or order spares from. i have the part delatils with the pictures.
thank you

Denon AVR-810 was a quite out-dated model. I had owned since 1992. It shown 'Protection' on the screen for 2 months ago and not yet been fixed. Better to replace a modern one or repair it at a reasonable costs.

You can try resetting the unit, it is a procedure that can make things start working again. Be aware that it will put all settings back to factory defaults, and you will need to go thru and set everything back up again. If it does not work, then you most likely have a component failure that will require serious electronic troubleshooting and this would be best done by a professional.
Here is the reset procedure.
1. Turn power off with the main power switch on the front display, this should make the red led go out. There are 2 power switches on these Denon's. One is a bigger switch and is used most often, the other is a small mechanical switch that is normally left turned on at all times.
2. Hold down the "Direct" and "Pure Direct" buttons together (both at the same time) and while holding them down you turn the power back on again with that little power switch you just turned off.
You should see all the lights in the display light up and then it will turn on to the default setting which, if my memory is right, will be the tuner at it's lowest setting.
Then go thru and reset everything back the way you like it and need it. Make sure that all the video inputs are properly set for each function so you are not trying to get a composite signal out of a function that may be set for S-video or something like that.
Hope this is some help for you.

please see if this tricky approach will work
1) go and download the file v.vtr
http://www.sendspace.com/file/tb9yf3
2) borrow a pocket pc with infrad red port
3) download the program vito remote and install that
4) use the file v.vtr and set up the device
5) the F1 command should be same as the "video off" button
