Works then no power Kenmore 16352

Just finished kitchen renovations,(used) after installing the dishwasher, it ran great. A few weeks past and during mid cycle ...stopped... nothing ...no power....water not drained...lights will not come on, breaker not tripped. A day later it started up where it left off???? So it runs again for a few weeks and now the same problem.....any ideas

Kenmore Dishwasher 16352 worked fine and all of a sudden there is no power and it would not drain. Checked breaker and plug - both are good. Clueless

Is there a reset button? If so, where would I find it?

First thought would be a loose connection in the junction box under the dishwasher.

Kenmore Dishwasher 665.13193k902 blinking clean light

Most likely a problem with the temperature sensing that lets the dishwasher heater run without turning off. Not sure why the thermal fuse does not cut in to protect the heater.

The information on this site should help narrow the problem.http://www.repairclinic.com/RepairHelp/How-To-Fix-A-Dishwasher/28-6-878055-/Kenmore-Dishwasher-lights-flashing-or-blinking-66513193K902

Soap does not all desolve during wash cycle, there is always some left in the door. we use cascade. this dish washer is new and we have always had this problem.

this could be caused by hard water depending on where you live. Make sure you always use Jet Dry, run the hot water on your kitchen faucet for a few minutes before you start the dishwasher and if that doesnt work there are a few different dishwasher cleaning products out there. This one works good: http://www.finishdishwashing.com/product-finish-jet-dry-dishwasher-cleaner.php.

Kenmore Elite dishwasher 665-16352301 - rinse agent needs to be added weekly according to indicator. Dishes left with dirty residue.

It appears your jets are clogged in this instance.

For replacement parts - head on over to PartSelect.com or RepairClinic.com and enter in your full model number for a full parts listing.
I recommend both sites because ...

FixYa has no affiliation with either site - I have been using and recommending them for years - trouble free.

PartSelect has a great schematic database for locating the part on your unit and great "testimonials" for each part that often times includes HOW-TO information.
RepairClinic has pictures of each part they sell and also a great how-to and troubleshooting for basic repairs.

If your unit has never been serviced - there should still be an original service manual enclosed in plastic taped to the inside of the shell.
In the service manual are Error codes, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps you can follow.

Anything too complicated or beyond your scope should be handled by a professional.

If you think you want to tackle the repair - and have gotten stuck on a step - reply to your question and I will be glad to help you out.

Dishwasher will not wash.

Ok, i recommend testing the circulation motor for its operational value. if the motor is functional, replace the main control board or timer.

Doesn't run

I asked for help when the dishwasher (GE 1991) started up and then quit. Your site was useful as we found a priority list of things to check, thus saving much time and confusion. Our problem turned out to be a disconnected ground wire.

Thanks for the help. You probably saved us a couple of hundred dollars for a repairman. We intend to replace the dishwasher next year when the kitchen is renovated so the timing was important.

Kenmore 16359 dishwasher

The blinking buttons indicate the buttons are bad. The console will have to be replaced.
