SOURCE: Canterlever wall mounting a Sharp LC -65GD1E.
Yes it is possible as while the television is BIG it isn't actually that heavy. You will need a very good based to fix up against and I would have to strongly suggest using an expert service from a local AV shop.
Something like this would be ideal: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/130803
Some things to check:
1. Fix to good quality brick work or very solid wood. Modern partition walls aren't going to hold the weight and will damage both your wall and the television.
2. Check the screws and rawl plugs supplied with the cantilever wall mount and replace them if they do not look deep enough or of suitable quality. Ideally use something like an expanding radiator bolt.
3. A lot of wall mounts provide more holes in the backing plate than screws are supplied... feel free to use more...!
4. I like to think I'm pretty competent at DIY... but given how much I like mine I would be cautious and might just upgrade my home insurance to cover "accidents" :)

They are metric screws, you van get them at Lowe or HD, try M5 or M6. they are about 35cent each so you can try difference length.
