I forgot my passcode for my nokia window phone how do i reset it

Hi if your phone is asking for securtiy code when you switch it on then i can give you the master code to reset the securtiy code to what it was when new but if you can acess the phone and just forgot your security code and want to change it to do this you will need a flash lead and unlocking software if as i said the phone is asking for scurity code when you switch it on then if you give me your imei number its on back of phone under battery and looks like 123456/12/1234567.
it should be 15 numbers long give me this code then i can get you the master code ok let me know and i can assist you further ok

when that happened to me when i first bought my phone, i entered the last four digits of my phone number and it worked

unless you know the pass code you cannot unlock the phone...
only way is to reinstall the phone software

I find it hilarious that a Wiz ("LG expert") and a Guru had no idea that one can simply find the lock code by going through this simple process:
Settings & Tools menu -- option 9 Phone Info -- My Number. Write down the last 4 digits of the phone number -- that's your reset code. Now go back to Settings & Tools, Option 6 Phone Settings, Option 6 Security and enter those last 4 digits. Simple. as. that.

You need to perform a hard reset on the phone. Follow these directions:
hese steps will wipe all data from the device.
1. Power off the phone. If the phone is frozen and won’t turn off using the Power button, pull the battery out.
2. With the device off, press and hold the Power andCamera buttons.
3. Release the Camera button when prompted to do so.
4. Press and hold the Volume Down button until a yellow exclamation mark appears on the screen.
5. Open the physical keyboard and press ALT + L, then press ALT + W to complete the hard reset of the Cliq.
