Machine starts but after one minute it just hums

most probably it is the problem with the drainer check whether the pipe you drain has no block or the switch of it fails to work.

The washer has a stuck keypad on the console. One of the buttons are stuck and the washer thinks you are holding that button in so it is beeping and will not allowing you to select anything else. It is hard to tell which button it is, although narrowing it down does not help anyway. The console with keypad is sold as one piece and would include the whole console facia and all the buttons. The model number provided is missing 2 digits on the end (ex. GVW9959KL1) and color is also needed for part number but they all seem to retail for $181 or close.

It fixed itself. The next day it was reset and working.

you have a cabrio not a calypso..1st calypso did not display f1 codes BUT a cabrio does indicating bad control module.. changed 1 last week same issue..i'm sure if you go to sears .com click parts link type in your model number it will come up a cabrio..let me know how it turns out

Could you possibly supply a model number and serial number. This will help greatly in determining the cause of your problem.

Basically its saying that the motor is pulling very high amperes. This could signify a faulty motor, motor controller, or thermal protector, or there could be a mechanical bind in the transmission. i would use a amprobe and check to see how much power is being pulled when the machine starts, and as it is operating if it is 5.55 amps or greater and higher than 20 amps on motor start surge, than the motor controller is correct in saying there is a problem. ------Dont forget to rate my help!!!!!! thanks
