Split AC whole unit turnig off at each compressor start up!

My Blue Star 1.5 tonne Split AC was not cooling yesterday night. On close watch I figured out that only internal unit was working but fan in outdoor unit was still together with compressor. Whenever compressor starts the whole unit shuts down and then restarts. I had to switch the AC unit off for whole night. In morning, I switched on AC again, it was working fine with perfect cooling. This repeats every year in peak summer time. Can you please help me with the problem?

I'm unclear of your question. Does the outdoor fan come on when the compressor comes on?

SOURCE: Hi. I recently installed 1.5 T, 3 * Split AC, LG.

Hello

Sounds like the compressor is shuting down on high heat. There could be a couple reasons for this.
1 Check that proper voltage is being supplied to compressor.
2 Freon level may be low. This would be a service call.
3 Bad or intermitent connection at thermostat.
4 Main contacts to compressor sticking, usually burnt or pitted.

SOURCE: AC Starts normally but after some time of coolinf

Probably overheating. Check the outdoor coil and see if it is stopped up with dust, grass etc. If so, disconnect power to the unit, and clean the condenser coil with water or air. Be careful not to bend the fins if you use a water sprayer.

H5 ERROR CODE IN BLUE STAR SPLIT INVERTER AC

The H5 error code in a Blue Star split inverter AC typically indicates that there is a problem with the outdoor unit. The outdoor unit is the part of the air conditioning system that is located outside the building and is responsible for releasing the heat absorbed from the inside of the building to the outside.
There are a few possible causes of the H5 error code:
  1. The outdoor unit's compressor might be malfunctioning. The compressor is the most important component of the outdoor unit and is responsible for compressing and circulating the refrigerant.
  2. The outdoor unit's fins might be dirty or obstructed. The fins are the thin metal blades that are responsible for releasing the heat absorbed from the inside of the building to the outside. If the fins are dirty or obstructed, the heat exchange process will be impaired, resulting in the H5 error code.
  3. The outdoor unit's fan motor might be malfunctioning. The fan motor is responsible for turning the fan blades that circulate the air over the fins. If the fan motor is not functioning properly, the H5 error code will be displayed.
To troubleshoot the H5 error code, you should start by checking the outdoor unit for any visible signs of damage or obstruction. If you do not see any obvious problems, you may need to call a professional HVAC technician to diagnose and repair the issue.

My AC model is Blue Star 1.5 ton 5 star inverter split AC. ODU is switching off when temperature reach its setpoint, but not the IDU. Does any one help me why it is so?

You likely are running a constant fan. Fan should be set for auto, this means it turns off when compressor turns off.

Did you figure out why the ac wasn't responding to the remote? I am having the same problem. I just cleaned out the filters but it's still not responding to the remote. I have already tried reset button in the remote, which didn't help. I am pretty sure that the remote is not out of battery.

I want to change the location of my split ac from one room to another kindly give me easy instruction

Power on. Let compressor starts in cool mode. After 5 minutes, close liquid line with proper Allen key and check your gauge becomes" 0" in suction line. Power off immediately. And start closing suction line with proper Allen key. Now, all gas has been pump down in condenser unit. Separate the pipe lines by removing flare-nuts . And also remove flare-nuts connected with indoor. Disconnect drain line and thermostat wire which comes from indoor to out door. Remove Indoor by hooking up and remove gently towards your chest. Nowyo can re instal your unit wherever you want.

I have Onida split AC but in night it is making lot of sound. I am not able to sigh any reason any help in this regards would be appreciated Regards, ashutosh

It might be making equal noise in the day too and you are not able to notice it due to the already existing noise polution during the day.

This is exactly like you could watch the stars on the sky during day time too sitting inside a deep well.

Please check the padding on the compressor bottom and ensure that the compressor is fixed without any chance of moving while in running condition.

Please check whether the compressor is grounded and you get a shock when you touch the AC unit. Please ensure that the earth is connected properly.

If the compressor is defective and the inside springs are also not in original tight condition the unit will make noise even if there is cooling.
