Spots on top of red ds

There are bubble like spots all over the top of my red nintendo ds.
what is it? will it cause any future problems? will i be able to return it?

  • the_ickle_me Nov 27, 2008

it almost looks like someone has put a clear piece of sticky plastic over the top and not smoothed all the little tiny air bubbles out. they are 1mm in size or smaller.

Ok, you have a DS Lite with a bad housing. Normally these housings are perfect quality but I think this one slipped the end inspection.
It do not damage the working of your DS Lite but it is a visual issue. So if you are unhappy with it and the DS Lite is new, you can go to your reseller and let him see your issue.
If he will not help you, please contact Nintendo with this problem.

Level 3 -a or one

Coin 1: After the checkpoint, there are pipes blowing bubbles upwards. The
second set of pipes is a red followed by two greens; enter the first
green pipe (the middle pipe of the set) and swim across the cavern to
get the coin.

Coin 2: About two thirds of the way through the level, the coin can be seen at
the top, between two bubble-blowing pipes. Swim up and get it, but
beware the purple fish that will swim after you.

Coin 3: About three quarters of the way through the level, there is a P switch.
Hit the switch and immediately swim right; the coin is easily grabbable
at this point.

Nintendo DS Lite won't turn on

My kids did the same thing. What I did to get it to work was to push back on the top and hold it turn it on. If it comes on then turns off after you let it go get 2 rubber bands and put the 1st. one on the top left down to the bottom right. The 2nd. one goes from the top right right to the bottom left. Then keep turning it on while moving the top to find the sweet spot.
