If new, return it to place of purchase for a replacement. if used, the motherboard or internal problems may be the problem such as a bad motherboard, bad internal connection etc.
it may also be that the battery isn't being charged due to a bad adapter or battery. the battery may not be able to take a charge, or the charger may not actually be charging. if you have a spare charger, try it, and the same for the battery.
a green light on the charger doesn't mean it's actually doing anything. nor does it really indicate the battery is good.

When connected to AC adapter the amber light for battery doesnt change to blue even after full charge.

Hello.

The most common reasons are the battery, power jack and power adapter/cord.

Power off and remove the battery. If the laptop powers on with just the adapter connected, your battery is faulty. If the battery indicator flashes amber or is a steady amber, the
battery will probably needs to be replaced, since it's not charging fully.

If you move/wiggle the power adapter at the point where it connects to the laptop, and the power goes off and on, the power jack is the problem.

The power jack is inside the laptop and either needs soldering or replacement.

If no change, the power adapter is probably faulty and needs replacement.

Hope this helps.

I have installed windows XP on Acer Aspire 4520 and since it was not booting up normally i installed all the drivers in Safe Mode. Even after doing the same it's not starting normally just a blank (Black)...

your computer your laptop will just shut itself down and get a black screen unexpectedly, which is due to: power overload in the AC adapter, overheated processor / clogged fan, overheated battery, pushing the power button, Windows telling it to, the BIOS telling it to, loose wires (especially the power cord), or intermittent short circuits. The most common problem is cooling. the battery should be removed from the laptop and allowed to cool to room temperature before attempting to use again.

Acer aspire one D150-1Bw battery not charging

the battery is gone dude. This year manufactures have reduced the quality of batteries drastically to cut down the costs and i think u got even the worst of them.

and whats more they they dont even give warranty on batteries for more than 6 months.

so U'll have to get new one. Sorry

Sir, i have bought a acer laptop model aspire 5920 but when i was working on it suddenly it shut down and till now i cannot made it power on can you tell me the problem

Remove the battery and the power adapter, wait 5 minutes, plug in the power adapter and try turning it on, if it doesn't turn on, remove the power adapter, plug in the battery and try starting up again, if it still doesn't work plug in the power adapter, try starting up.

Is the power adapter working? does it have a green led on it that shows that its powered?

Acer Aspire 3680 2682 will not power up

there are some reasons laptop can't power on, try to troubleshoot.
1. Make sure that your ac adapter is working. if you plug battery and ac adapter, the battery chargin led will be orange and if the battery is full, the led will be yellow.
2. Can you power on using battery ? if you can and you can't power on using ac adapter (i assume your ac adapter is working). the problem will be your power port.
if you can't power on using battery and your battery is working ok. the problem will be motherboard.
