Yes, you have the hope, but chances of recovery can be high as long as you act as soon as possible and stop using the digital camera to take more photos or videos, also keep the camera memory card in good shape (no physical damage).

Then you can rely on a digital camera data recovery software to get the job done and retrieve your photos.

How to do? You'll need to connect the camera (mass memory card) to your computer. Then install the program to start scan & recover your files.

Should be easy to get back your lost memories!

That's why one is always asked to back up everything important timely. I hope you can learn a valuable lesson to make data backups after experiencing this trouble.
But, now, what you should do is really simple:
Firstly, stop using this camera or inner memory card immediately in case that any new file would overwrite your original photos and make them gone permanently. So, you should take care!
Secondly, plunge this camera to your computer and prepare to retrieve all your deleted pictures.
Thirdly, apply a deleted photo recovery freeware named 4Card Recovery to retrieve all your deleted photos back successfully:
http://www.4cardrecovery.com/
I believe this data recovery freeware can work perfectly on your phone memory card just in the same way as it completely retrieves all the deleted data of my friend off from his phone memory card. Just give it a shot!
Fourthly, save and back up all the restored photos on a different memory card or drive in case of data recovery failure.
Note: Never forget to back up everything important at least on two memory cards or locations in the future.
Good luck!

Yes, you can recover your deleted photos back from your Canon camera as long as you've not overwritten.
In fact, the deleted photos on your Canon camera are not actually erased as you think. They are still saved there and only become invisible and inaccessible. As long as you've not overwritten them with anything new, you do have chances to get them all back.
So, in my opinion, you try a camera data recovery freeware that can easily restore all your deleted photos back from this Canon camera for free:
http://blog4mark.blogspot.com/2012/12/photo-recovery-after-delete.html

This freeware can help you a lot in the same way as it successfully restores all the data of my friend back from a formatted digital camera. It is really worth a shot!
Note: After experiencing this trouble, I hope you can learn to be more careful about your data and always back up everything important well.

Deleting won't make the pictures on a digital camera erase permanently. Those deleted pictures are still stored on the memory card of your camera, they're just invisible or inaccessible. You can recover them with photo recovery software. But once the deleted pictures were overwritten by new data, they are gone for good.

I had recovered deleted pictures and videos from my Sony camera with a program called Tenorshare Photo Recovery for Mac and it worked.Anyway, you can download it (Photo Recovery for Windows version is available, too, as I remember) and scan your memory card for free to preview whether your files can be recovered.By the way,it will show you the file name, type, date and size of your files and thumbnails for your pictures that it found on your card.Give it a shot!

Here is a step by step tutorial to guide you recover deleted pictures from camera.

Note:
If your photos are saved on the inter memory of your camera, those deleted photos are gone!

Insert your card into a card reader or connect directly to camera via USB cable. Download and install http://www.undelete-plus.com/files/undelete_plus_setup.exe.

Have this program search the drive letter of your memory card. It should show all of the pictures you have deleted. Highlight all of them and RESTORE THE FILES TO A DIFFERENT DRIVE LETTER like MY DOCUMENTS > MY PICTURES etc etc.

!!!!!DO NO RESTORE TO THE MEMORY CARD!!!!

SOURCE: I dont know how to

You have to unprotect it first. It's a bit confusing because the menu item probably only says "Protect..." but it also takes care of unprotecting too. Go into the menu for "Protect..." and navigate to the protected one. Whatever button you press to switch the protected status (it's the SET button on my Canon) you can use it to turn the protection off as well. When you exit the protection mode, you can delete it.
