Fabric softener usage on quickwash

the soap dish area inside needs a good clean

sounds like a off balance load problem, run with less closes and not as heavy. see if spins out if not is the door lock light coming on?

it seems that there must be a blockage in the siphon tank softener.
Remove the drawer and wash well, remove the siphon softener (just pull up)

see the causes and remedies:
It spins, but doesn't pump
drain lines clogged, repair+sock in outer tub port, if the lines is not clogge the problem is pump replace
It doesn't spin or pump
frozen pulley pump, replace
It pumps, but the water returns improve the draininin laundry, if have reaches 4 inches cut off the excess. if is lower install air/gap siphon break assembly.

Could be the fine holes in upper dispenser are blocked. Remove soap dispenser drawer and use a washing up brush to clean upper dispenser, replace drawer & test. If not could be upper dispenser or inlet valve.

Purchase some fabric softener and place it in its normal location at the beginning of the cycle. At the end of the cycle check to see if fabric softener has been dispensed and whether there is water in the cup.

If the fabric softener is gone, but there is water in the fabric softener cup, then your problem may be with the water valve assembly. The water valve assembly (as one complete unit) has a separate solenoid for hot and cold water temperatures, bleach and fabric softener. The fabric softener solenoid on the water valve assembly could be defective (allowing water to fill the fabric softener cup).

Contact an appliance service company.

Programmes appear to be taking excessively long time to complete even with the quick wash button pressed - 2 hour 15 min for 30 Cotton wash cycle. Is this right or is there a fault? 30 Easy-care seems to be taking almost as long.

On most washers, this usually means, end of prog, and you should be able to remove washing.
