same problem here. to get rid of error message. unplug. plug in. then push POWER, MAINTENANCE,STOP all at the same time. it should clear the screen, but will not necessarily help with feeder problem. same problem here. to get rid of error message. unplug. plug in. then push POWER, MAINTENANCE,STOP all at the same time. it should clear the screen, but will not necessarily help with feeder problem.

If the paperfeed works when you "help" it a little, most likely the feed rollers simply need cleaning. We often suggest taking a little alcohol and spraying it onto some paper, and running it through several times, then running clean/dry paper through to finish. If the printer isn't even trying to load paper, possibly the paper sensor is blocked with dust, and blowing the insides of the printer may help.
phyical inspection of the rollers for a jam or a roller out of its socket would be my first look.
then inspect the plastic gears at the side of the rollers as these will crack and are hard to spot untill they break completely.
Always check your printer properties first and make sure it is set for the correct type of paper.
Unfortunately if has broken gears it will be less expensive to replace than repair.. Regards
Take all the paper out,Make sure non of the paper is folded under on the stack. check the paper-feed area for debris,(papreclips, staples post it notes etc).
Check the tray and its guides are secure and it the correct positions.
Open the machine check the paper path for debris, bits of paper or anything the looks out of place.
Once you have checked and cleared everything, close uo the machine and try again.
If you are inclined, you can clean the paper rollers with alcohol.
First of all turn the printer off & disconnect all of the cables. Turn it over and give it a shake, you'll be amazed at what gets inside the feed hopper. Next try a stiff piece of A4 card (the backing from an A4 notepad for instance), feed the card into the paper feed and push it through quite hard to overcome the spring resistence. Once it has started to go through open the lid and check if it has pushed anything through the rollers. Feed the card all the way through the mech and pull out of the front. Hopefully the card will have cleared the paper path of any objects and reseated the sensors.
Good luck.
Take it apart,as fas as you can.clean out all of the paper and chips.
The print 5 pages only, twice as the Epson manual says to do , in order to clean itself out.
What sort of paper are you using? What sort of volume has the machine done? Have you ever had a jam and pulled the paper back out through the auto sheet feeder instead of feeding it through the exit rollers?
i would Isolate the printer to know if the printer is getting the error stand alone. Disconnect printer from pc and turn the printer off. take out any remaining paper. Check for small pieces of paper and look for obstruction inside the printer and the paper feeding area. Then try and do a stand alone nozzle check by holding the paper button down and turning the printer on keeping finger on the paper button for arounf 5 sec. now if that still doesnt feed the paper there could be something worng with the machine. hopefully your still under warranty.
Look to make sure that there isn't a small bit of paper caught in the wheels that push the paper through. Over time, even a small bit in the corner can destroy your printer.
