Panasonic KX TG2770 phone system I'm trying to store a voice mail access number given to me by my phone company, but I cannot find any way to get it entered into this phone. I would think this phone...

Try adding your voice mail access number into the directory of the KX TG2770. You will need to enter the number separately for the base and the handset or copy it from the base to the handset. On the base, press Conf/Edit. Then navigate (up/down arrows) to Save Directory. Once in this submenu, you'll be able to add a name and phone number.

Then to call the access number, go to the directory list and locate the name/number and call it.

Panasonic has the manual for your phone here: http://service.us.panasonic.com/OPERMANPDF/KXTG2770S.PDF . See page 33 and the following pages.

I hope this helps.

(Other phones have a voice mail waiting icon and let you program that number outside of the directory. These also check if you have voice mail waiting for the line that they are connected to. This phone doesn't seem to have that ability.)

How to switch fixed dialling on nokia n73?

Press menu button and select Contacts > Options > SIM contacts > SIM directory to see the names and numbers stored on the SIM card. In the SIM directory you can add, edit, or copy numbers to contacts, and you can make calls. To view the list of fixed dialing numbers, select Options > SIM contacts > Fixed dialling contacts. This setting is only shown if supported by your SIM card.

Caller id Call Customer Service 1-8O5-465-751O To Fix Issue

First you need to verify if the caller id does that to all incoming calls, showing numbers only, or if it only does that to only numbers stored in directory. If it does that to all incoming calls then you need to check manual to see if there a setting to allow both name and number of all incoming calls. Either way you need to make sure caller id functions allows both name /number on display.

NEC DTU-8D wiping the directory list

If it is in the system speed dial directory you have to go one by one and type "Feature, Redial, bin # where it is stored (system 00~79, station 80~99), Feature". This should wipe each Speed Dial listing.

If it is in the voice mail unit you may want to go phone by phone and log into the box. You will need to redo the following:

Personal Greeting
Recorded Name
Spelled Name
Directory Listing
Security Code

All these options are listed in each mailbox through a series of soft keys. Let me know if you need more info.

Contacts

If you have phone numbers stored on the SIM card, copy them to Contacts. Entries that are saved ONLY on the SIM card are not shown in the contacts directory. So for incoming calls and msgs, the phone cannot match the number to the name.
To copy individual names and numbers from a SIM card to your phone contacts:
Menu/Contacts/Options/SIM contacts/Sim directory. Select the names you want to copy and: Options/Copy to contacts.
