Yeah it has PCI Express is the latest I/O interconnect technology that will replace the existing PCI interface. With a bus bandwidth 4 times higher than that of AGP 8X interface, PCI Express x16 bus performs much better than AGP 8X in applications such as 3D gaming. PCI Express x1 also outperforms PCI interface with its exceptional high bandwidth up to 500MB/s.

Sound problem ASUS P5LD2-VM

The driver can be downloaded here:

http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_775/P5LD2VM/#download

Select your windows system 32 or 64 bit.
Click on audio and hit global for download.
Unzip the file before you install.

If the driver does not work buy a sound card to add in the pci slot.
Just make sure it supports your windows.

Good luck

I am having motherboard P5SD2-VM motherboard having on board agp sis 3 mirage of 256 MB but it does not support to games like crazy taxi and even flash player programme which was working are not working...

Some games requires higher video card memory, you must look for the requirements for that game! I suggest if ur a GAMER, buy a HiGHER memory PCI video card! Taaah!

Which graphics card is best suitable for ASUS P5LD2-VM Motherboard

Not too shabby, looks like it will support PCI Express based cards since most these days are PCIe and PCI, so its personal preferance and what you can afford. But since its a Intel based board (according to reviews) nVidia is a logical solution, but ATi will still work fine

INSTALLING GRAPHIC CARD 9500GT ON ASUS P5LD2-VM R1

Hi,
First of all is this a new graphics card? If it is take the card out of the PCI Express slot, get a clean, dry, soft paintbrush and clean the PCI Express slot, then blow on the slot to remove any residual dust.
Make sure the brass contacts on the card are clean and then reinsert the card, make sure it clips into place properly and you secure the card with the screw at the back of the computer, then try booting the machine.

If you bought the card second hand then there is a possibility that the card is faulty.
Luckily for you i now a way to bring a dead graphics card back to life but you do it at your own risk.

Let me know how you get on and good luck.

Can i install pci video card in my p5pe-vm board ?

You could by why would you?  Even your " on board" graphics are faster that an PCI video card would be. You have a AGP 8 slot. Look for a really good AGP 8 video card. That should get you where you want to go. It will not be as fast as a PCIe16 card but you do not have that option nor slot of *********** board.
Below is the ASUS link to your board. http://www.asus.com/search.aspx?searchitem=1&searchkey=P5pe-vm

P4p800-vm pci slot is not recognising the add on card ( TV tuner)

There is no PCI-E slot on this motherboard. It has an AGP 8x slot and 3 PCI slots, but no PCI-E. Therefore, even if you could manage to get the PCI-E card physically into the slot it will never work.

Here is a link to the manual - http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/sock478/p4p800-vm/e1338_p4p800-vm.pdf

Graphics card problem

Hi rovin,
So you bought an XFX GeForce 256MB video card. You're board has 1 free AGP 8x video slot & 3 PCI (White opened slots).
You mention there is not slot for the new card. (What type of video card did you buy)? PCI-E, AGP or PCI?
The only slot you're board does not have is a PCI-Express.
Look in you're manual on page 1-7 for the location of the AGP video card slot.
94565e6.jpg If you bought the wrong card, exchange it for an AGP 8x or PCI.
The ASUS P5PE-VM uses a integrated Intel® 865G chipset with integrated Intel® Extreme Graphics 2 Technology, which uses you're system memory to function.
If you need a manual you can download it from Asus. Click on the link to open to the P5PE-VM download site.

I hope you find this helpful.
