On the rear panel of the AVR-1100, there is a hexagonal point of contact which is called "Circuit Breaker". On the "Circuit Breaker", you can find the Reset button. Press and hold the Reset button to reset the device.
Ensure that all the excessive loads to the AVR-1100 are disconnected prior to resetting it.

I have lost the remote controller, avr 1100 when turned on, is in standby mode, so i cant do anything if its possible to turn on whithout remote controller ?

If it's not malfunctioning, yes. There's a power button labeled On/Standby/Off. Walk over and touch it.

Generally speaking, an amp attempts to protect itself from heat, shorts, overloads and operator exuberance by refusing to turn on or stay on.

Overloads can be from excessive periods of high output or marginally low impedance loading by the speakers; and shorts would be wiring issues or a speaker blowing up.

You should be able to feel if it's hot. WHY is it overheating? Make sure it has sufficient ventilation on all sides and that vent holes are not blocked by dust balls. Ensure the fan (if equipped) is running as designed (some only operate on demand). Clean dust and debris from it.

If the amp comes back on after cooling, you're lucky. They only have so many self-protection cycles in their lives so continuously resetting or cycling their power without addressing the cause can do more harm than good.

If it protects immediately on a cool power up you should disconnect the speaker connections and try it 'nekkid'. If it comes up then diagnose which lead(s) are shorted. If it does not come up the problem is internal and should be left to an experienced and competent hands-on tech.

Check for loose speaker connections at the speaker as another possible root cause for intermittent shutdown.

The remote, should you decide to get one and make the receiver usable, is an RC-841. There are three on eBay right now.

Denon AVR-1100 receiver "PROTECT" mode

replace all the electrolytic capacitors in the power supply. i had the exact same problem with mine and once i replaced the capacitors it powered up and stayed on and worked perfect.
these capacitors tend to fail as they're of poor quality.
this fault is very common on denon receivers, especially the later models.

hope this helps?

Says protect

Probably some speaker wires got shorted or the output stages freaked out and the cpu went into protect mode. Normally plugging it out of and in to the wall socket should/could reset it.

First check all wiring at the speaker outputs and on the speakers
then if it still wont startup you could try the avr-1500 method with
some trial and error pressing of buttons.

avr-1500 reset method:
Unplug the unit from the wall, hold down both video select and audio select at the same time, plug it back in. Keep holding both buttons for 2 secs, unit will reboot. As you have no audio select button on your avr-1100 you might try pressing video select and another key to see if this will reboot it.
