  • Mary Landis May 30, 2012

I was still unsure of what to do. I am so unfamiliar with how to do things. I had a friend over who showed me what the answer meant. Info was good, but it was just my lack of computer savy.

Just insert the cameras card into your computers card reader, copy or upload your photos into your pictures folder. When you write an email click on Attach or Upload and your picture folder should open, if not search for your picture folder, click on the photo you want in your email and it should begin to download it and attach it to your email.

Windows mail problems

one way around is to open a new folder on desktop then transfer/save the pictures to that folder
having done that click on the folder then send to e-mail recipient
that opens up a new e-mail with the folder as an attachment and type in the new e-mail address then send
the problem is that if the photos are in the body of the e-mail when forwarding on, the format of the pictures is not reproduced as in the original message

I do no know how to send pictures directly from my camera to my email address.

Download or transfer the pictures to a folder in your computer - preferably your "Pictures" folder. When you write the Email, "attach" the picture to the Email by locating the Picture folder in your computer and selecting the pictures you want attached.

How do I email photos from my dell computer?

A simple process to e-mail photos from any computer using windows is fairly simple. Find the folder with the pictures in them. Then select the pictures you would like to send by pressing the "ctrl" key while left clicking(left mouse button) on each picture you would like to send. Once you have selected the pictures then right click on one of the highlighted pictures and select "send to" and then "e-mail recipient" and then right click. This will bring up a page to send the e-mail using your default e-mail program with the pictures attached. You can then add any remarks, comments ect. and choose who you would like to send the pictures to.

I have a Sony Cyper-shot 6.o Mega Pixels camera (given to me with no manual) I've got the cord to connect camera to PC. I cannot figure out how to load the pictures from the camera onto my e-mail account.

The mamory card in the camera will show up as a "Removable Disk" on your computer.

1. Go to "My Computer". The camera will probably be Drive E.
2. Click on Drive E (or whatever the "removable disk" is) and open (click) any folders that show up. The pictures will be several folders down.
3. You can then copy these to your "My Pictures" folder in "My Documents" or "browse" to that drive when you want to attach a picture to your email

Hope this helps!

Stiill confused

Sure, I'm here to help. Be more specific telling me what you need. Which websites do you want your pictures in???
The easiest way: * Go to a store with photo service (walmart, exkerd, walgreen, etc.) put your pictures on a CD from your phone memory card. This should cost you no more than $4.00 average cost is $3.30.
* Insert the CD into your computer. It will open up in a photo smart or photo share program. You will see all your pictures in this program. You can click on a the picture at the time. There should be an option in the program to save the picture to your computer. When you save it to you computer click on the folder you want you picture on ( there should be a folder named pictures, use that one). When you click once one a picture, left click and a menu will appear, choose rename, this will help you to put a name on that picture like "me at the club". This way when you open your email and you look for a picture you will find it better by its name.
* Now that the picture is under your folder in your computer, you open your email sign in to your account, go to compose mail. There should be an option for insert picture.
Click on insert picture, it will open a box for you to find (BROWSE) the picture. You will see all the files in you computer and the CD option. You can get the picture straight from the CD or from the computer file.
If you click from my computer, you will see the folder PICTURE, click and you will see the name of the picture "me in a club", click on it, the press open, and the picture will automatically go inside you e-mail box. Now your picture is ready to be sent in an e-mail. You can sent it to your self for example [email protected], in the subject right picture in club. When you open your new mail, picture in the club you go to the options saved mail, and that picture will go inside your saved mail in the email account. You will be able to see your picture from any place in the world that you sign in to see your mail. It will always be in your saved mail folder, and you can share it with anyone too by pressing send e-mail.

*For the picture to go into the website, like myspace.com or anywhere, there is an option for my pictures or edit profile, there you can upload your pictures following the same steps.
