I have a Samsung LCD TV model number LE32R7. The picture has gone into a negative, but I am still have sound. The TV was bought 18 months ago and is used about 8 months of the year. It is switched off at the plug when not in use.

Any help please would be useful.

hi have a le32r88bdx. was watching tv when screen went blank. still have sound and changes channel, cannot see menus either.can anyone help.

I would need the exact model number, but it sounds like you have a bad inverter board. The power supply could be bad and not supplying the voltage to the inverter bord but since you have sound, I doubt that's the problem

eithor the flyback just craped out or the tube went
try turning up the flyback failing that call a service tech and ask for a quote
quote cose 30-50 bucks
atleast you will know forsurre if it's worth fixing

Samsung projection 42 in. floor model, powers on

tv is in shutdown, drawing to much current. usually focus or high voltage divider (sometimes they are one). not usually the power supply.
