PLEASE, PLEASE try and help me...I can't tell you how much this would be appreciated. I have a Panasonic KTS4100 4 line phone (2 corded phones in our office, and one cordless). I have NO IDEA how to use the INTERCOM between phones. It sounds like a small problem, and I can't believe I can't figure this out, but I just can't. There is an INTERCOM button on the right hand side of the number dial pad. I never had any reason to set up my phones with each one having an extension number or anything. When I pick up the phone, then hit the intercom button, there is just a high pitched tone in my earpiece, not heard anywhere else (for instance, it would be great if the other corded phone, in the back office could hear that tone when I am pressing the intercom button!, that's the whole problem!), the display on the phone lights up when I pick up the reciever, then when I hit the intercom button, the display reads: Intercom To - then a flashing black square. PLEASE PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO USE THIS INTERCOM. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My email is [email protected], phone numbers: cell: 610-731-1124, office: 610-640-9355, home: 484-320-8197, call or email anytime..hopefully very soon. Thank you, again.

Just in case you missed the manual:
http://www.centralcomms.co.nz/pdf/KX-T2375-brosh.pdf

There are 2 conditions you need to be aware of

1 No DSL on the line
2. Set the intercom extension of the second phone

By default, both have been assigned ext 11. The intercom uses the same frequencies as a DSL line to transmit, so that could be the noise you are hearing.

Page 23 tells you how to set the intercom extension, and the DSL warning is almost at the bottom of every page from 18-22.

Panasonic corded/cordless phone KX-TG9392T need the IMEI number

The Panasonic KX-TG9392T is a land line phone system; it's support page is available here: https://shop.panasonic.com/support-only/KX-TG9392T.html . IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) numbers apply to mobile phones. Thus there is no such number for a corded/cordless land line phone. There is a FCC registration for the cordless (radio) transmitter in the phone system. That number simply proves that the company tested the phone to ensure it does not cause interference with other radio frequencies beyond those it is supposed to use.

I hope this helps.

Just acquired a used Panasonic business D816 w/ 8ext module, YVS75 (not yet hooked up) and a slew of phones. Here's my issue: I got the phones hooked up to my 2 CO lines, they appear to work. BUT when I...

What's a 2:1 coupler? The modular jacks on CO lines is an RJ-14 connection. As a minimum, plug one line into CO1&2 and one line into CO3&4. Now try it again. My guess is you have doubled up the lines by the "coupler". The real wiring is that you bring in one line on the inner pair and one line on the outer pair of the jack plugged into CO 1&2.

Do you have a manual for the system or are you trying to "wing it?"

When i pickup the phone i want the intercom to be my first option not a line out?

One of the following two methods of programming "Preferred Line Assignment-Outgoing" should work depending on which Panasonic phone system your KX-T7433B phone is connected to. Try number one first, if PROGRAM 99 does not get you into station programming, try number 2.

1) Press PROGRAM button then dial 99 to enter station programming. Dial 1, then press INTERCOM button to select Intercom as your Preferred Line Assignment-Outgoing choice. Press AUTODIAL/STORE button to save programming. Press PROGRAM button to end station programming or lifthandset then replace in cradle to end station programming.

2) Press PROGRAM button then dial 19, press AUTODIAL/STORE button. Press INTERCOM button then AUTODIAL/STORE button. Press PROGRAM button to end station programming or lift handset and replace in cradle to end station programming.

What kind of extention lead do i need for a panasonic kx-t7665 as the one i have just brought from my local hardware shop wont work?

Panasonic proprietary phones need a 4 wire line cord. Most phones work with a 2 wire or 4 wire line cord because they use the center two conductors, but panasonic proprietary phones use the outside two conductors of a 4 wire line cord.

Panasonic KX-FM220 fax machine does have a dial tone

I would double check your phone cord. There is usually 2 jacks in the back of the fax machine. 1 is for Line, and 1 is for phone.
Your phone cord should be hooked up in the LINE jack that goes to the wall.
I would also double check your phone cord on another phone to make sure the cord is good.
If you look at the clear connector that you plug into your wall and fax machine, does it have 4 copper/gold color wires contacts imbedded in the clear plastic connector?

Another thing to try, if you fax machine has a Line and a Phone connector, try plugging in a phone in the PHONE connector. Then hook up another phone cord going from the LINE to the WALL jack.
If you get a dial tone on your Phone, then you know you have it connected correctly. If no dial tone, then I would go back to the phone cord.
check those things and get back to me and I will see if I can help you with more suggestions.
Good luck.
