When i put memory card in card reader & attached to my computer folder name show in USBCÇV)à. File.

It may be that you actually have the pictures stored on the camera's onboard memory and you may have to plug the camera in directly to access the pictures. Or Sony may have a strange way of accessing the files on the device (they have done the same with their MP3 players), so you may be limited to using their software to get the pictures off the camera (or memory stick).
Try putting the card in the camera and in the menu, select 'FORMAT' this will totally wipe the memory card, ready for use. You will find plenty replacement cables on Ebay, for about £7.00-8.00

i think your memory card is breaked somewhere
pls check it with your naked eye in bright light
and if problem still not solved try to clean the slot with some thin cloth and also clean the m2 card
reinsert it and if problem not solved try to contact your nearest service centre of sony ericcson

Hi, I don't know if you'll get this message, but it's worth a shot. I am having the same problem and I wanted to see if you ever found out how to get your pictures back. I don't have the same camera as you but the same thing happened to me. I'm on Windows 7 though now. Thanks
