I have a goodman furnace. Turn it on and everything works fine for a little while than heat shuts off and blower continuosly runs. Ignition will not work again unless you turn power off the furnace and try it again.Sometimes will ignite but than the same thing happens. heat goes off and blower runs continuosly until you shut it down. Led light blinks 2 times but did see 3x once. 2 indicates pressure switch but i talk to a tech and he said it could not be the pressure switch because if it was the furnace would never ignite. If you look thru a small viewing window, you will notice a small LED light blinking. Count the blinks and then remove the front access panel. On the reverse side you should find a diagnostic chart indicating what could be the issue based on the number of blinks.

Hi #1 check thermostat : see if the FAN ON/AUTO switch is set to( auto ) and not( on)...If this is not the case turn the furnace switch off for 20 sec. and back on...did it stop? IF so the blower relay is sticking and must be replaced. AUTO=BLOWER ON DEMAND/CYCLING ON=BLOWER 24/7 all the time.. hope this helps
what is the fan setting at? If its set to on then it will rum all the time if its set to auto then it should only run in heating or cooling mode? It is located on your tstat
make sure the blower is not set on rather than auto or the blower will run all the time. You might want to disconnect the thermostat and test the low voltage circuit to make sure the wires are not shorted
Check the diagnostic indicator.
1. If the blower runs for hours make sure the fan switch on the thermostat is set on "auto".
2. The furnace safety system must be in lockout. This is the furaces way of telling you there is a problem.
3 Most common problem is a dirty flame sensor.
You may have a problem with the board or the motor, as there is a separate speeds for heating and cooling. I would call a competent, NATE certified technician to daignose this properly.
Either yourself or a Heating specialist will have to replace the gas valve.. Once installed you will plug unit back in which will reset power board and should work fine
you have a circuit board acting up. Try keeping the fan in the "On" position. It will keep the blower on all the time but it may work. There is a built-in delay not allowing the unit to come on after you reset it with the thermostat, wait three minutes or so to see if it comes back on. I still suspect a bad circuit board.
