SOURCE: lens error, lens wont come out at all just started wasnt dropped hit or anything

This is probably THE single most common failure among digital cameras. There's a halfway chance of fixing it yourself, described here: http://camerarepair.blogspot.com/2007/12/fixing-lens-error-on-digital-camera.html

SOURCE: Sanyo lens error 0x01110000 I dropped it and the

Hello

The problem is that the lens has become stuck in the barrel. There are some DIY solutions you could try, but the probability is that you will have to get it fixed by a professional.

Use these at own risk as it may further damage the camera.

Firstly , try connecting your ac adapter or usb cable.

Try holding the shutter button while switching on the camera.

Look at the lens , and if some of the lens 'circles' is misaligned or not concentric then try wiggling it (while holding camera lens down).

Try gently pushing or pulling the lens when it extends but this is risky as it may cause the lens barrel to slip out of its guidance system.

Another way to do this is to place the camera lens down on a hard surface and then power it up. Be sure to use a soft cloth or something similar as to not scratch your lens or casing. Let the lens push the camera up and down a few times and sometimes the little resistance provided by the camera is enough to get things going again.

Try hitting your camera near the lens on the body with the soft tissue on the palm of your hand.

Other than that , I would take the camera to a repair centre for a evaluation to see if it would cost more to repair than to replace the camera.

If it is still under warranty I would suggest you take it in before trying any of these steps and remove any off-brand batteries or accessories as some stores are really fussy about warranty repairs on camera's with non-brand accessories.

You can also have a look at THIS link.

Hope the advise is useful. please do not hesitate to let me know if you need any further assistance. Also, please be so kind to let me know if you found this helpful.

Computer cuts out when i connect my pentax optio e80

Take care you are to using a USB cable, with a shortage, or a defective connector on the Pentax or in the computer. Be aware if a shortage occurs on an USB port, the voltage dip, caused by the shortage can cause the computer to shut down.
Till you found what is causing the problem, I would not connect the HP, with the same cable to the same USB port.

Hi, my problem of my pentax optio e80 is that, when i'm going to have a picture the lens show CARD IS LOCKED how can i solve this problem. thank you!

Take the memory card out of your camera and look at it. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

Lens error :0x01110000 That's what it says when

Try one of these two fixes, if they dont work for you follow the link below for further troubleshooting.

http://camerarepair.blogspot.com/2007/12/fixing-lens-error-on-digital-camera.html

Fix #1: Remove the batteries from the camera, wait a few minutes. Put a fresh set of batteries back in (preferably rechargeable NiMH 2500mah or better) and turn the camera on. If that didn't work, try pressing and holding the Function or OK button while turning the camera on.
Fix #2: If the camera's batteries ran down completely while the its lens was still open, the camera may show a lens error or not start properly when new batteries are installed. Remove the memory card and keep it removed, then install the new batteries. When you turn the camera on with the card removed it may come back to life, as this triggers a reset in some cameras. Error E30 (for older Canon's) means that you don't have a memory card installed, so turn it off, slip in the SD card and turn it on one last time

My Pentex Optio E80 says lens error:0x3110000 and won't close.

It looks like you've knocked the lens barrel out of alignment. Its all supported by some very delicate cogs and gears. It's probably slipped a tooth somewhere.

To be honest, I'd come clean with your Dad and try and get it repaired under warranty.

Pentax Optio 50 Digital Camera Lens Error

Not really, it sounds like the lens has been bumped while it was extended. Unfortunately, the "buzz" you hear is the gears stripping one another. The only fix is to have the lens assembly replaced, which usually costs upwards of $200. I see this problem at least 3 times a week in my shop.
