Looking for remote control code to operate Philips 65PFL4864 TV from Sony BDP-S370's remote (RMT-B107A).

If you're trying to control your Philips 65PFL4864 TV with the remote control of your Sony BDP-S370 Blu-ray player (model RMT-B107A), you will need to find the remote control code that corresponds to your TV.
The codes for different brands and models of TVs can vary depending on the remote control, but you can try using one of the following codes:
  • Code 020
  • Code 021
  • Code 022
  • Code 023
  • Code 024
  • Code 025
  • Code 026
  • Code 027
To use the codes, you need to follow these steps:
  1. Turn on your TV and Blu-ray player
  2. Press and hold the "TV" button on the remote control of your Blu-ray player.
  3. While holding the "TV" button, enter one of the codes listed above.
  4. Release the "TV" button and check if the TV responds to the commands from the remote control.
  5. If the TV does not respond, try the next code in the list.
You should be able to find the instructions on how to program your remote control in the manual of your Blu-ray player. If you don't have the manual, you can download it from the Sony website or contact the manufacturer for assistance.
Keep in mind that these codes are not guaranteed to work, and it's possible that your remote control may not be able to control your TV. In this case, you may need to consider purchasing a universal remote control that is compatible with your TV and Blu-ray player.

When I turn my DVD player on and put a DVD in, the DVD plays automatically until the menu screen comes up on the TV. At this point, the display on the DVD player shows "root" and I can not...

The remote could be broken. What happens when you press play on the DVD player this should start the movie. You can buy a cheap univesal RCA remote if you need to replace the old one.

My DVD player has worked excellently for almost 10 years. Uncertain if that's the problem. All the buttons on the remote and on the front panel seem to respond--one way or another. This is a Sony CD/D

by a new player i recomend sony, there still the best. dont waste your money on blue ray, they will be obsolete in five years and they are very slow,ie. loading and reading discs, i know i sell them

Not responding to any input commands.

Don't worry. I unplugged it and left it for a number of minutes and then tried it again. It now works fine.
