Power Cycle Your Router- you should turn off the belkin router and modem for 1 minute and then turn it back on. once your belkin router will be turn on. you may try to connect your computer to the router. let's see if your router is connecting to the wifi or not?

If you face this kind of a problem, then the very first thing you do is to check the connections of your router. Check that every cable or wire is plugged into their right sockets or not. Wellll....since it seemed an impossible task, I tried the next best thing.
I bought a wireless adapter for the other pc and voila! they are on the internet, and I am returning the router.
Westell modem + Verizon DSL w/usb = No connection to router.

What has happened is that the proxy server on your last internet connection is in need of being redetected. you will need to delete any old cookies and internet files, also check in the internet explorer tools>internet options>connection, that the the the last provider you used is trying to connect instead of sky, so either select never dial a connection or sky as your default connection. Also check that in the properties of the belkin adapter that obtain an ip address automatically is checked in the TCP/IP properties. You may also need to refresh your browser a few times before you get on the net. Try the manual method.connect router to pc with ethernet cable
1.logon to 192.168.0.1
2.Connection type ; PPPOE
3.type in your username@ISp and pass
5.Configure wireless setting(SSID,Wep)
Configure pc with the same SSID and WEP
uplug the ethernet cable and check if your are able t connect wireless

Do a powercycle. Make sure to completely turn off the modem, router, after 30 seconds, turn on the modem first then the router.
If that will still not work, perhaps there is a need to update the software of your router.
