It doesn't show up the "devices" panel in the finder any more. And I doubt it's the cord. I have 2 different USB cords and neither of them make any difference. This has been a problem for at leats a month and it's a pain not being able to put more music on my mp3. It still charges as usual though.
And the Mac is just a loaner from school (lol that might be worth mentioning) so I can't install anything without it getting approval from the school board and junk.

I suggest that you reset the Walkman Player, Format it back to factory default to resolve the issue. Press the BACK/HOME button select SETTINGS-->COMMON SETTINGS-->FORMAT.

It appears that your walkman is still turning on. When you connect it to your computer, check windows media player and look if it recognizes your walkman. If it is not recognized. look it up from windows explorer as a removable device, and take it from there.
