I purchased a printer that can be connected to my wireless network, however I have forgotten the password. Is it possible to connect this printer to my network without purchasing an entirely new system. I have misplaced the set up CD.

Are you using internet router for your wireless network? you download software for your internet router or if you want reset your internet router this will refresh your router and give the manufacturer original settings with "admin" user without password.
you can also connect your printer to other computer and share it so that other computer on your network cab use it. just open the share printer in the network and windows will install it or go to add printer and look your printer using network.
hope this will help you.
Depending on the router, you can either view or reset the wireless network password (also referred to as the passphrase or security key) if you can log into the router. Some routers mask the wireless network password, so while you cannot recover it, you can enter and save a new password.
If you cannot log into your router because you have forgotten the router password or your network has been hijacked, please refer to "Lost or forgotten password for router or other device" below.
To view or reset a wireless network password:
Unfortunately, there is no way to recover a lost or forgotten password
from a router or access point; you will need to reset the device to
factory defaults. However, once the device is reset to factory defaults,
you can use the default username ("admin") and password (either "password" or "1234" depending on your router) to reconfigure your router settings.
NOTE: Restoring factory defaults on a device will erase any customizations you have made. You will lose any configurations saved to the device!
