You need to remove the batteries and remove the memory card. Then reinstall the batteries. Finally, press and hold the "ok" button, the power on the camera. This is a factory reset trick. It fixes approximately 40% of all error messages on the KODAK EASY SHARE CAMERAS. But of course, no one is gonna be kind enough to help somebody out, they just want to take your money!

How do I get my camera lens unstuck?a

You are in ticklish situation. The motorized assembly for the lens is apparently in need of repair. If you attempt to unstick it you might just strip the gears further.

Not a cheap repair since working on those miniature camera is labor intensive and the parts are proprietary and expensive.

Might be better to just get a new unit given the high repair cost.

Kodak c1450 camera won't upload photos to my computer

Hello, Kodak has no control over your cameras' ability to upload your photos to your PC ! Unless you are talking about their online photo storage. If you are having problems transferring your pics to your PC and are using Kodak software try to reinstall the program and see if that works, I don't think your camera is junk.

My easyshare C1550 lens is stuck open and the screen says Lens obstructed

Hi,

Try removing the battery then put it back and turn it on. If it still wont close, place the camera facing the ground and gently tap it repeatedly. There might be a debris stuck in the mechanism.

Kodak v570 showing camere error 45 see user guide , need help pl

Error E45 is a lens stuck error and appears if there is an obstruction in the lens gears. The obstruction is usually just dust or something of the like and can be resolved by gently tapping on the camera lens with your hand. Here is a thread where I suggested the same and it seems to have worked for a lot of people

Worth a try before you send it in to Kodak for repair. Don't hit it too hard as the lens may break.

I HAVE AN EASYSHARE C182 CAMERA WHICH CANNOT UNLOCK THE LENS

I have found this problem before and if you have the camera on and push the door open it normally will open. If this does work then I suggest taking a cloth that is wet with warm water and wipe it back and forth attempt to get it to open again. Sometimes dust or obstructions can cause this to get stuck very easily. Let me know if I can be further assistance! Thanks for using Fixya
