Skipping all the technical stuff, each FM broadcast channel is 0.2 MHz wide and starts on an even number. The lowest channel for example is, 87.8MHz - 88.0MHz. Radios will tune to the center channel, ie 87.9 MHz. Any FM station in the United States is always an odd number, therefore radios in the US will never tune to an even number
Turn on your XMP3i radio and place it where you have an excellent signal, and power, so you're not relying on only the battery. Tune the XMP3 to Channel 0 to get your serial number, write it down, then tune the radio to Channel 1 and leave it there. Then, call XM Customer Service and explain that you're paying for B.O.S. and then ask XM to send a 'refresh signal' to your radio - that might take a half hour or so, but it should then add the extra channels that you're paying for. there is more than 1 channel you can set to on sirius try setting your fm to 108 and set siriuus to same if you go into yor sirius tuner you can use the up and down arrows to tune in the stations

AM is just another name for MW. The Radio should tune to a strong signal regardless of the frequency the radio is set to. It should also sweep the entire frequency looking for stations. I'm assuming it has a channel scan setting, plus options to set a number for the station. AM/MW are very much dependent on the position of the either internal or external Ariel. If you have the radio in the wrong position or you have some electrical equipment nearby it could block the signal for the station you want, but not affect the others. Which might explain why it can't find the station you want.
first you have to set a channel in your sat radio then tune your car radio to that channel go to menu and then to set fm frequency in your sat radio and choose one try to get one that does not have a station on it whatever you set it at just tune your car radio to that frequency and it will work
