Try going to menu, settings, date & time, and make sure the information is correct where it says "set date" and "set time." if either is wrong, enter the correct information. that should fix it.
what happened is your phone thought you were sending a message earlier or later in time than you actually were, while whoever you're texting was sending messages on time. soooo all of your messages end up clustering at the top or bottom depending on if your phone's date & time is set early or late.

SOURCE: vibration for text message

Hi,

I use an HTC Touch. Hopefully the menu should be the same in Touch HD as per the Touch. Try this..
Start -> Settings -> in the Personal tab, click Notifications -> u might see 2 tabs -> select Notifications tab again -> select an Event (here it is incoming SMS) -> below you'll see the Vibrate option -> tick on it to enable it -> Select OK to save.

Hope this helps, If so, rate me.. thanks - billa..

Click on your Yahoo! name at the top of the webpage to access drop-down options.
Select the "Profile" option.
Your account page will open.
Place your cursor over "Account Info" in the toolbar.
Options will again drop down.
Click "Change Password."
Type in your current Yahoo! email password in the first text box.
Enter your new Yahoo! password in the lower two text boxes.
Click "Save."
Your Yahoo! password is now changed.
