I'm trying to add my Lexmark printer. It's asking for an IP address
According to the specs, this printer connects to the computer using an USB cable.
The only reason it could be asking for an IP address if it is connected to a network card or attached to a print server.
OR the wrong print driver is installed.
You
can download the Lexmark printer drivers from theirsupport WEB site.

Yes you can, but you need to lock that ip in your router to so its always goes to your printer.
Just make sure that your router dosent use that ip for it self, the usal ip for a router is 192.168.0.0 or 192.168.0.1, but you never know. Check it to be shure!
