Can't remove a file from usb drive! (how to remove a protection?)

1) The program 'unlocker' didn't help me at all..

2) This is the message I constantly get:
"Thedisk cannot be written to because it is write protected. Please removethe write protection from the volume KINGSTON in driveDevice/Harddisk/2DR8."

Anyone know how could I remove the protection???
I have Kingston DTI/1GB, if it is important.

Thanks in advance.

Heh, this problem is 3.5 years old. In 2008 there was no Windows 7. But thanks anyway. ;-)

When trying to format, copy files into flash, deletinf files,i get the message "remove write protection". so how can i remeve it?

One of two things:
Either your flash drive/card has a hardware copy protect on it (usually in the form of a little tab) Just be sure that it is turned off.
Or
You've somehow managed to tick the "read only" box on your files. Highlight the files, right click, go to properties, and unclick the checkbox for "read only". This may have to be done as administrator.

I'm really opting for the first one, Most people don't realize that their card or stick has copy protection on it and wonder why they can't delete files.

If nothing else works, you can always use a software program called unlocker - http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Miscellaneous/Unlocker.shtml
It integrates into windows explorer and allows you to delete files in use, locked files, etc, etc.

My usb flash drive is write protected how can i remove it

USB flash drives are made of a small amount of flash ram and usualy the size of a persons thumb.

the software that resides on them determins if the "disk volume" is write protected.

if a software program other than the native software that came with the drive has write protected "files" that exist on the drive you will need to find out the name of said program and follow the proceedures for changing the write protection of those files.
