Apple does this so that only Certified accessories have to software to make the hardware circuits charge an i pod, thats especially a problem with some sound docks, my i pod 2 gen works with only 1 of the 3 sound docks that i have tried, but i have a bluetooth i home so i play my music wirelessly

My ipod nano wont do anything

try reseting it with holding down the menu and center button. Your warrenty will have been voided due to the liquid damage though so if you cant get it working with the reset your gunna need a new one.

My i-pod nano wont switch on after charging

Try to do a reset. That might help.
Hold select button and upper button down at the same time until you see the apple logo.
Maybe that will work.

I pod nano cant switch off

Sounds weird, try this. Hold down the menu and the select, (top and middle) buttons down at the same time. What this does is resets you iPod. It should reset and turn back on. After that try again to turn it off. If that doesn't work, you may have to back up your information in it and completly reboot your iPod. You can do that on itunes. And if that isn't it what it could be is that you are about due for a new battery. Worn batteries cause mp3 players to act up in a number of ways and not turing off is one of them that I have seen.

FRozen !pod

Hi cholo, -Turn the hold switch on and then off. -Hold down the menu and middle button until the Apple logo appears, usually about 6 to 10 seconds. -If that doesn?t work repeat the process and you should be good to go. -If that didn?t work try plugging you Nano into your computer using the USB cable Let us know if you have any more questions and please don?t forget to rate the posting.
