No control panel lights on Bosch SGV43A03GB/17 diswasher

I have a bosch SGV43A03GB/17 diswasher which won't show any lights on the panel. It didn't complete its last cycle and there was water in the bottom. I have checked there is AC power at the input side of the switch but it doesn't seem to give an output when switched on. It doesn't seem to be a simple on/off button as there seem to be a number of different leads going into it. Any tips of where to go next or is it likely to be the control module itself?

SOURCE: Bosch dishwasher: won't fill with water

The flood switch is tripped. This is located under the unit. Unplug or flip the breaker to the dishwasher, take off the black kick plate under the door, 2 screws, and you will see the white plastic "pan". The flood switch is located where you can't really see it but it is on the left hand side wall and is made of styrofoam. The best thing to do is to put some rags in the pan, this is not easy because there is little room to put them, and soak-up the water that has filled the pan. Eventually you will get enough water out that the float will deactivate the switch. What you hear "running" when you turn it on is actually the drain pump, it get activated when the flood switch is tripped.

SOURCE: bosch dishwasher shu4302uc

Common problem with these. Control panel (behind all the buttons on the door) has a thyristor in the middle of the PCB for switching the heater element ON/OFF.
After many screws and a bit of fiddling about, get access to back of PCB (print side) to find dry joints. Clean and re-make joints and all should be well.
Caution, this is a high voltage area. Disconnect from mains.
Please see photos.
Cheers…..Dave

SOURCE: Water in Dishwasher Bottom

Hello Richard, Welcome to Fixya ! You've come to the right place. The problem you're experiencing unfortunately is a common one. The water inlet valve has been an issue with B/S/H built ( this includes bosch, thermador, seimens & gaggenau ) dishwasher's going back to the mid 90's. The part to repair it is available at most brick & mortar appliance part centers or you can check out on-line vendors such as repairclinic, apwagner etc. Do a search for part # 1105846 at repairclinic, you'll see what I'm talikng about. By the way it's about $35. Hope that helps move you forward. Let me know if I can assist you further, or need help on how to change it etc. It's relatively easy with Bosch. Thanks for coming to "fixya" for your inquiries and please take a second to rate this answer according to my helpfulness. Goof luck. Macmarkus :)

SOURCE: DISHWASHER COMPLETELY DEAD

Hi John, and welcome to Fixya. I don't believe the greasy water sitting in the machine has anything to do with the problem, rather it is likely a by-product of the problem. Based on your post, I would start by first shutting off the breaker. Then removing the kick plate ( access panel at the bottom ) and checking the wiring at the junction box for the dishwasher 120vac supply line. Remove the murret's and visually inspect the wire for "resistance burn" and strip the wires back and install new fastener's if necessary to repair. This is actually quite common to find a wire connector come loose due to improper fastening and once the unit is in use for a while the connections heat & cool, become loose from normal operating vibrations and burn up from all the added heat caused by "resistance". The end result is no power to the controls. Check it out and post back what you find. Thanks for visiting "fixya" and please take a moment to rate the solution/suggestion provided here for you. Good luck. Macmarkus :)

Hello. My Bosch dishwasher SHV46C13VC/21 DOESN'T START.

First check to verify the dishwasher has power from the wall socket under the sink, if that I sok then you most likely will need to replace the washer control panel assembly, cost to have it done about $300.00

Bosch SGV43A03GB/46 fills up then stops and has a relay clicking in the control panel

see the diagram attached:if you see the dark lines many contacts are from the timers, if the timer is defective the relais are will NOT close and the motor will not start,In short the timer can be faulty.
Of course clean the contact from dirty, oxide, loose wire, break or burn wires, repair or replace the TIMER see how

My Bosch Nexxt 300 series won't spin

Possible that there is no output to the motor from the control panel in which case the control panel is faulty or if you can check the voltage on the motor at the time of program start , then it can be confirmed on the motor failure, motor capacitor failure. Also check the spindle for free run in which case it which case it can be jammed.

Bosch SHX99A15UC went completely dead. Circuit

no it wouldn't, this is a common failure on bosch dishwashers. you have either a bad control or a bad touch membrane. parts are fairly expensive and only way to know for sure is to replace one. I usually find that the control panel is at fault most times

Bosch SGV43A03 DISHWASHER: pump drains all the time, even if reset!

Typically you could possibly have a leak in the base or sump which activates a little float switch. This in turn switches the drain pump on continuously and deactivates the programing cycle.Sort out the leak.
