The best way to address this issue is to uninstall and re-install the software and drivers. If you still have problems try deactiving any bluetooth aplications that are running on your PC or laptop. More information about your OS is probably needed. Contact [email protected] / www.totalcontrolremotes.com - they specialize in programming Universal Remote Control such as the MX-900, MX-3000, MX-5000, MX-6000, and many others and can offer advice.

Turn off CPU, Unplug Power cable, And all usb devices, let it sit for about 20mins. Plug it all back in. Turn on the CPU! Also make sure if your device requires "DRIVERS" or if you have a CD download and install that before anything.

Lexar Echo MX not being recognized

Try this: Go to Start, right click on My Computer, select manage. In the left pane click device manager, scroll to Universal Serial Bus Controllers. Delete all of them. System may not allow some to delete, thats fine just delete all that it will allow. Then leave your usb connected to the PC and reboot. OS will reinstall all usb drivers on its own, and it may then see your stick.

My adaptor is not recognized in my USB ports I installed the router and it completes all of its connection checks. I am trying to install the adaptor on a remote computer (in the basement) and that...

Here's what you can do since this is a USB wireless adapter, first connect the USB adapter on a different USB port on the computer better if you connect it on the back USB port of the computer tower and check if the computer will recognize it and if its recognize you can already continue with the software installation , but if not you can restart first the computer and check if the adapter will be recognized if still not the next thing to do here just to know if the adapter is good or bad is to connect it on a different computer and just to check if it will be recognized once its connected to a USB port , because a device should be automatically will be recognized by a computer once you connect it so if its still not recognized by a different computer adapter is bad...

USB Troubles

How To Refresh and reinstall USB Ports Of Your Computer Hello there, the other day i tried refreshing and reinstalling the USB ports on my PC, as some of my connecting devices are not recognized. I present the detailed procedure on refreshing the USB ports.
Let’s go!!

Here are the steps to refresh/reinstall/uninstalling the USB ports on the computer.

The USB port needs to be refreshed to make sure that no other device has captured the USB port of the computer. The Mouse, video camera, your external USB hard disk; what ever it may be.

Follow the steps given below to refresh USB ports.

1. Right-click My Computer icon on the desktop, and then select Properties.
2. Click the Hardware tab.
3. Click the Device Manager Button.
4. Click the plus (+) sign to the left of Universal Serial Bus controllers.
5. Right-click the device listed under Universal Serial Bus controller and select Uninstall.
6. Click OK to confirm the removal of the device.

Please note, repeat Steps 5 and 6 until all the devices under Universal Serial Bus Controller are removed.

7. Shut down the computer.

CAUTION: Ensure that the Shut Down option is selected, instead of the Restart option.

8. Wait for 5 seconds and then restart the computer. When the computer restarts, a "Windows has detected new or added hardware" message window will open.

The above steps will refresh the USB ports.

Now connect the USB devices like mouse, video camera, your external USB hard disk...USB hubs...whatever you like and the drivers should install automatically.

Tip: It is always recommended to connect the main USB devices at the rear end USB port. As they require more power to initiate.

The above steps are for XP operating system. When coming to the matter of Vista, please note the changes below:
===========================
1) Right-click Computer icon from the desktop , and then click Properties to open the System Properties window, and then select the Device Manager tab.

2) Click the Plus (+) sign next to Universal Serial Bus Controllers/Root hub.

3) Click the USB Composite Device entry to highlight it, and then click Remove. If a screen appears to confirm the deletion, confirm the deletion.

4) Disconnect the USB cable to the all-in-one, wait a couple seconds, and then reconnect the cable. This should restart Windows device detection (Plug and Play).

5) A New Hardware found screen may appear, click next through all of the screens that appear for the Wizard to install the USB Composite Device. Click Finish once the wizard completes.

Recognized my 4gb transcend pendrive

Try windows repair, it should fix the problem.Else connect the pendrive and check the port settings. You can check for the port settings by
right click on "my computer"-->properties-->hardware-->device manager
A new window opens and at the bottom probably you'll find "Universal Serial Bus controller". Expand that option and check whether all the ports are enabled. If the pendrive is still not detected, then the problem is with the port.Check the same with the other available ports.Any further doubts add comments.Would be glad to answer.Good luck.
