Freeview channels (DTV) on a Sharp Aquos TV

Hi, Our office has an old Sharp Aquos TV which loses it DTV channels when you turn it off which means every morning we have re auto tune. How can we fix this problem? Reset the TV?

Toshiba 19DV500 b will only pick up BBC1, BBC2, ITV, C4, C5 no freeview channels. there is no reset or reinstallation options

Hi, sounds like you are in Analouge mode and not in DTV mode so you can't access the DTV menu to tune in the tv.

Press the 'SOURCE' button and move to DTV using the arrow keys, then press ok and if channels aren't already tuned you will now be able to tune them by accessing the DTV menu by pressing the 'MENU' key on the remote control.

You may lose some channels when you retune the TV as the channels have been rearranged. To locate them look at the EPG although you may still find that some channels are no longer available on FREEVIEW. See the following link for additional information

What is DTV??

HELLO
Basically DTV means Digital TeleVision. You select this to get your viewing through your aerial (Freeview) providing you have it tuned in of course. That's all it means.

How do i tune tv channels into a sharp aquos tv lc19d1ebk

If I'm right in thinking this is a lcd tv with freeview already installed into it, you may not be on freeview,
What you need to do is: On the remote you have a button saying something like tv/digital or tv/dvs or something like this,
Press that so it goes onto freeview since you no need bother with analog tv anymore. Press the menu button and click installation, Will come up with tune channels or like that.
Go through the process and you should have all the channels in your area

Sharp HGTV will not show channels after EZ Setup

Well the advise I have for you is the TV is not connected to a good antenna or something is fouled with the sgnal or tuner or both.

Can't retune sharp aquos lcd tv

This is the best place that's near the manual you need.
They have the LC32D44E manuals, but not the "BK" at the end. I think the "BK" just means BLACK.
But, I think it will work for your TV.

Do you mean a freeview box? if so any freeview box will work via thw scart.

On my Aquos it's saying no carrier and database empty what do I do, I have trying to reset TV but free view isn't coming on and it's saying carrier 0.

can anyone help

I have a Sharp Aquos 26-D44E. The factory preset PIN on this one is 1234.

Your Aquos might be different to mine but... I have a Sharp Aquos in the D65E series and with mine I just hit DTV, Menu, Setup, Auto Installation, Yes, English, Digital search, and then it automatically searches for all the channels- there are a lot of them though so you have to leave it running about 10 mins while it hunts through them all.
