Rheem rrka a030jk08e outside ac fan does not work

If only fan not working, replace capacitor and try. Still problem, you have to replace fan motor itself.

If you mean outside unit not working, check input at thwe out door. If not check your PCB. Repair it.

My Rheem RRKA-AO3OJK08E unit froze up, yesterday (frost on tubing). I cleaned the filter, really good, and turned off unit to let thaw. I have not tried to re-start it, yet. Can you tell me the usual...

Either your filter was really stopped up or you could be low on refrigerant. If your filter was stopped up, be sure it is thawed out all the way with no more ice build up, and go ahead and turn it on. You may have already solved your problem. It it freezes up again, you will have to have your refrigerant checked.
The only other thing it could be would be a stopped up evaporator coil. This happens when the unit is ran for a long time without a filter or when the filter doesn't fit in the blower correctly.

Gas water heater goes cool

The dip tube which carries the incoming cold water to the bottom of the tank is bad/gone. If you can find a rheem dealer you MAY be able to get a new one but it's probably time for a new water heater
