I installed a new BellPhones 5.8 to my 6210/cable/internet system. I am unable to send out any faxes - each number just keeps ringing and ringing. Can you help me? I've tried every type of set-up I can think of. Everything works except the outgoing fax (I have no incoming fax number).

I would take the phone line that goes into your Officejet 6210 and plug it into a normal telephone. Dial the fax number manually and see if a fax machine picks up on the other end. If you can't get a fax machine to answer even when you are manual dialing, you are calling phone number that has no fax machine connected. In other words, you are calling either a bad number or there is a pool of fax machines and they are all too busy to pick up your call. You can redial try the number repeatedly to see if you can get through in that case.
The fax machine needs to hear a dial tone first to send a fax. If you have no fax number, what working phone number are you using?
