Consider NOT using a driver.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

Samsung PL50 with Samsung 2GB memory card says 'memory full' even though I've cleared down the memory via my laptop.

Have you actually formatted the card in the camera ? Just copying the photos does not remove them from the card

When i turn on my samsung pl50, a totally white and bright screen appears and its impossible to view anything on that screen. All other functions are working. Its capturing pictures as well. But the...

Sound like a problem with your LCD screen, related with the CCD Image Sensor; since that you can view mode and setting displays, isnt the LCD screenviewer.

The CCD Image Sensor isnt a job that you can do it, I suggest visit your techinician service or apply if has underwarranty.

Good luck.

Can i use the samsung pl50 like web camera????

No. This was designed as a camera, storing images (and videos) to a memory card. It was not designed to stream images live to another device.

The problem with mine was that the lens motor was somehow stuck. I gently pulled the lens out as I turned the camera on. It went back to normal afterward. Hope this helps
