Last night I was playing th Force Unleashed. It was working fine. Then today when I went to play it, the screen just goes black and nothing pops up, no error messages or anything. And the 360 sounds louder than usual.
Also about a month and a half ago, my Halo 3 game became unreadable for some reason. It gets to the main menu but when the game tries to load a level it says unreadable. Also it says that there is no save file on my 360 for Halo 3 but when the game is inserted it has my level progress and skulls there.
Any answer to either question would be helpful and appreciated
Your laser could be bad, that is my idea for the situation. Your laser probably loads to a certain point and then just stops for some reason. You can try adjusting the potentiometers up 10 percent if your technologically advanced or try and replace the whole laser/drive.

I fixed it on my own. I reformated the hard drive, lost my game profile and gamescore due to me not having online but Force Unleashed runs fine now and Halo 3 does with another game and not mine. So I'm guessing something happened to that to screw it up.
Thanks for the advice though, going to be hell to go through and get my gamescore back
