Sometimes not well installedconsumables are the cause of that particular problem.See if the print driver on yourcomputer is correctly installed. Try and reinstall the driver.Check if your printer is working in onlinemode. Sometimes printer changes online to offline method. If printer is atoffline mode click Start button on your computer, enter Control Panel. Click onHardware and Sound and choose Printers. Instead of moving the whole green lever to adjust that grey arrow to the envelope symbol, simply push the gray part that has the arrow on it. This will move the gray piece down to the env. symbol and will not move the green lever so you can close the back door. I used to have severly wrinkled envelopes. Now they print out perfect.

You could try resetting the toner cartridge settings. OPen the machines front door where you would replace the cartridges. On the top panel you will see a "clear/back" button. Press it and on the display you will see a reset menu come up. Arrow to each one and hit the OK button. Press "1" to reset. Once you have gone through all close the front door of the machine and press stop to bring the display back to normal.
Hope this helps.
