Panasonic KX TG1100 base unit does not ring

sorry, it seems that they have to come from the same model base. however, the procedure to reset handset numbers for the 1100 may work for you. there is a 15 digit number on the base unit. try to type that into the 1100 and see if that will register the 1100 to your old base.

sorry, it seems that they have no manual for this model base online yet. however, the procedure to reset handset numbers for the 1000N may work for you. there is a 15 digit number on the base unit. type that into the handset using the book (was on page 54 for the 1000n) for your 1100 and see if that will register the other 1100 to your base.

unable to locate the part on the website, but can call 1-800-405-0652 to try to order it from panasonic.

BTW, is it the ac charger # PQLV19CE ( item # (1) ) or the base # PQLV30018 (item #(9) ) from the book?

On your handset go to "SETTINGS HS" -> "REGISTRATION" -> "CANCEL BS"
This will discard the registration of the handset to any base.

Then go to "SETTINGS HS" -> "REGISTRATION" -> "REGISTER HS"and select the base you want (i.e. BASE 1, BASE 2, ..., BASE n).

After you finish all the above, hold down the "PAGE" button for about 5 secs.

You are now done!!!

This will discard the registration of the handset to any base.

STEP2:
Using the handset you want to register go to "SETTINGS HS" -> "REGISTRATION" -> "REGISTER HS"and select the base you want (i.e. BASE 1, BASE 2, ..., BASE n).

NOTE:If you do not get access to the BASE you are looking for (STEP 2) then you have to cancel the registration of the new handset to any base. Therefore, follow STEP1 for this handset as well and then follow STEP 2.

After you finish all the above, hold down the "PAGE" button for about 5 secs.

You are now done!!!
