Sony VPL EX-7 projector, it has been working well, now the lamp/cover blinks yellow and the switch on button remains red instead of green, it has refused to work, what do i do? Please help.

Your Projector needs a new lamp and do remember to reset the lamp timer after replacing the lamp .

You should first check if there is any visible damage on your lamp. If not then it could be a faulty Ballast ( lamp powersupply )

According to the manual, you need access to the RESET button, the left and right arrows and the ENTER button to clear the counter. Press the following in order for less than 5 seconds each:

RESET
Left Arror
Right Arrow
ENTER

The above sequence should clear the counter.
