Unfortuneately the keypad control board will need to be replaced.

The part will be at least $100.00 and I would recommend a professional.

My IFB 20SC2 Microwave's start button is not working. All other Buttons are doing great. Its only the Start button. Do I have to replace the keypad membrane?

Check those 3 micro switches in the door latch assembly. The unit will not start until all interlock conditions are met. Could it be the keypad membrane, yes. Is that likely, no.

Panasonic genius 1200w

You may have a failed keypad or moisture or grease on the keypad innards or on the control circuit board itself.
You can find a video here that shows you how to remove the grille & controller in about 5 minutes if it's an over the range model.
You can order Panasonic parts from Encompass here http://tinyurl.com/7qy85y or you can call them toll-free at 866-779-5835.

Microwave oven touch pad problem

The keypad very well could be worn from use and be working intermittently. Replacing the keypad (and the keypad face if it is a separate piece) is the most logical solution.

Only a few buttons on my key panel work, example the start/ clear button does not work, a few numbers do work. I think its from condensation. How can I dry this out? Can I use a hair dryer?

Yes you can use a hair dryer but the power should be off so that you don't short it out any more than it already is. Most likely the keypad has been ruined and will need replaced., Once these go bad there is no fix except to replace the keypad.

When we start the microwave and push the start button instead of 30 seconds 15 minutes appear. No other button including start button works. It stops working only on opening the window of the microwave and...

That normally means the board needs to be replaced. Without wanting to explain all the details, im almost sure the keypad is still in good order.

Microwave stopped working suddenly, the sreen reads H97

If your oven is out of warranty then i would suggest just getting a new one.

The code is for a bad controller circuit, and it would cost almost as much to fix it as it would to buy a new one.

Some control panel buttons don't work

You need to replace the touch pad assy. Moisture gets up around the contacts and, it doesn't take much to short them out. Some will work, others will not. Eventually, others will fail, leaving it inoperable. Recommend fixing ASAP
