the sony vaio cs12gh is known for the problems with cooling and or power supply
1st: check if the fan turns on when it gets warm, while playing some game f.exaple if fan turns indeed on, do clean it: 2nd: get a can of dust air, turning the laptop around, having the fan working push some air into the opening to release dust. be careful, sometimes lots of dust in there... 3rd: if above does not help try to work with the laptop-battery removed and so only by the power-supply just to check if its an power-issue by the load cyclus. dont hesitate to comeback and give some more input, we're glad to help

First you will need a Windows Xp install CD/DVD, you can perchance one at your local retail shop.
You then insert the CD/DVD into you laptops disk drive and boot up, When the screen said, Boot from cd... press any key, wait until it has done its checks and follow the instructions, If all is well and you have done everything right, you will have successfully installed windows XP
