Phone stuck on windows mobile screen

Hi

My Samsung Omnia is stuck on the windows mobile screen. I tried to format the phone by keeping hold of the green and red button and pressing reset. After formatting it says done but still does not turn on.

Please HELP!!!!

i have taken the memory card and tried soft resetting it. this jus turns the phone back on to get stuck onto the windows mobile screen

Soft Reset <ol> <li>Turn the power off.</li> <li>Remove and reinsert the battery.</li> <li>Turn the power on. </li></ol> Hard Reset This will erase all data and settings from the Omnia 7 device. <ol> <li>From the Start screen, tap the arrow in the upper-right part of the screen.</li> <li>Tap Settings.</li> <li>Tap About.</li> <li>Tap Reset your phone.</li> <li>Select Yes two times.</li> <li>The Omnia 7 will now complete the factory reset.</li></ol>This will erase all data and settings from the Omnia device. <ol> <li>Press and hold the Send and the End buttons.</li> <li>Continue to hold down the buttons while using the stylus to press and release the small reset button on the top of the phone.</li> <li>Still hold the buttons until the Format screen is displayed. Press Send to choose Format. </li></ol>

Hi,

hope this will help you:

Hard Reset - Samsung Omnia (i910)

A hard reset is the last resort for troubleshooting. This reset will erase all data and restore preferences to factory default specifications. Performing a hard reset is only recommended when the existing data has been backed up or is unwanted. If the preferred method is not available, there is an alternate Method.

Preferred Method

From the Today screen, tap Start > Settings.
From the System tab, tap Hard Reset.
From the Memory tab, tap Clear all data.
Tap Yes.
Tap the QWERTY keyboard icon at the bottom bar, enter the device lock code (the default code is the last 4 digits of the mobile number) then tap Yes.

Alternate method

Press and hold the Send key and the End key.
While holding down the keys, use the stylus to gently press and release there set button. Continue to hold down the keys until the Format screen is displayed.
Press the Send key to choose Format.

p/s: please do these procedures at your own risk. I will not responsible for any damage on your phone.

Hi,
Plz follow the stepsPress and hold the Send key and the End key.

While holding down the keys, use the stylus to gently press and release the reset button.Continue to hold down the keys until the Format screen is displayed

Press the Send key to choose Format.

switch off completely and take off the battery for 30 secs. And restart .

Hardreset samsung omnia i900

How to Hard Reset the Samsung Omnia Many people do not know how to hard reset the Omnia phone. The manual does not teach you the trick of doing this. You may follow the steps below to reset it to default factory settings.
1. Poke the soft reset hole beside your power button(Poke and Release)
2. Press and hold the Call and Cancel Button together(Do it immediately after Step 1)
3. Do not release Call and Cancel button, the Samsung Omnia Screen Appear
4. The Reset Screen will appear as below

Press Call to Format or End Call to Cancel.
This hard reset does not erase the 16GB memory. To reset everything, you could use the software hard reset by going to Settings > Hard Reset. There is also option to format the storage card.
If you decided not to format and press cancel, that will soft reset the phone.
Another Method to Hard Reset
There is another method to Hard Reset, just key in the following code on your Dial Pad
*2767*3855#
After keying in the code, the Phone will restart itself. Phone will be reset to defaulf factory settings straight away. For DZIA5 Firmware, it will format the My Storage Card also.
