SOURCE: Lens stuck open

I have a Kodak C613, it was dropped down the stairs and the lens in stuck out, and will not come in. When I turn it on it says "Lens Error: 123, 0, 0, -23" It fixed itself once, but now it will only let me view picture when I go to favorites mode before I turn it on, then press review. Any ideas on how to fix it?

SOURCE: lens won't come out (Kodak EasyShare C613)

i have the exact same camera
you can hang it up and get ready to buy a new one because its not a do it yourself job and it would cost more to have it fixed than it would to buy another one just like it

If there is a slide switch on the side of the card, make sure it is "unlocked".

The flash works when switch on then stops

Sounds like faulty flash capacitor, This is not a user fix, needs to go to shop.

I dropped my Kodak Easyshare M530

you would have to take the camera apart and probably replace the the screen or reattach the cables for a better connection.

My Kodak EasyShare M530 will not turn on, and it is making buzzing noises when I try to turn it on.

its a lens jammed issue. Noise came from lens area. Use air on the lens area for cleaning the dust and then try. If required then trust it in other hand little bit. Not too harder.

My kodak easyshare m530 digital camera can't Autofocus

The lens needs to be taken apart cleaned and lubricated, overtime they build up dirt and grime causing the gears to become stiff, the only solution is dismantle the lens and clean it until spotless. If a camera specialtist gets in involved it will be expensive.

If I try to turn on my kodak easyshare m530 it turns on and the lens comes out then a few seconds later it turns off and the lens is still out and its fully charged. Can anyone help me solve this problem?

Sounds like a lens error problem. Lens errors are fairly common. Usually it's sand or grit interfering with the lens extension mechanism. Or the camera's been dropped with the lens extended. Or the camera has been powered on, but the lens had been blocked preventing its extension. Or the battery ran down with the lens extended ... Here are some troubleshooting steps that you can try that may (or may not) correct it. They only seem to work for less than 40% of the lens errors, but if the camera is out of warranty (or repair cost approaches that of the camera), they're worth that try. Some of the later steps do involve some risk to the camera, so carefully weigh your options before deciding to conduct them:
