N2750W PROBLEMS WITH DIRECT TV

You can use the RCA cables to the input of the LCD TV so that the HD can be viewed. If HDMI is available it can be used to connect. The cable line must be connected to the box.

I'm not sure what input you are using,but make sure, you pick the input you are using thought the menu.

Yes there is... You are going to need a VGA cable and an 1/8 audio cable (for sound)

The on your tv you will hook it up to the vga port as well. Page 7 of the following document shows a pictures of the back of your tv. You will hook it up to "L" on the diagram. Switch your tv over to the PC input by clicking the "Input" button. Then make sure your PC is sending a signal, you might have to hit the function key to switch the view.

Hi. can you list the symptoms so the people here can confirm that the main board is the problem?
do you have the back off of the tv? is it a VS10576-1M?
with a bit more info it may be possible to make less costly repairs .

Your dish is out of alignment. The local channel satellite doesn't have as strong of a signal, so a slight misalignment will cause problems.

It could also be an F-connector needs to be replaced at the dish or multiswitch (if you have one). Sometimes moisture builds up inside the connector and corrodes the copper stinger inside.

If you go into your satellite signal strength menu and find the local channel satellite, you're sure to see either a weak signal or an intermittent one.

One more thing, if a tree has grown in the line of sight between the dish and the satellite, this will cause signal problems too. In this case, you either have to trim the tree or move the dish.

The customer service reps at DirecTV usually idiots reading from a script with no real field experience.

First verify that the direct TV satellite box is set to receive and display digital stations. If you old set on the sat was analog, the box may not have been reset. You may have to contact you satellite provider. Next you will have to go to the TV menu and auto program/scan in the stations. This should pick up all the stations.

I spoke to someone at Best Buy yesterday because I had the same problem. In your TV functions you have a text box on. You have to change this to off or to a closed caption setting. Hope this helps.. :)
