I have installed the jensen vm9312 hu in my cadilac as well as 2 L7 12's and a 1500.1 kicker amp. I have done car audio for years and know alot about it but this has got me puzzled. Everything works properly and everthing is hooked up right but I am getting no sound from subs, I took them out put them in another vehicle they work perfect but reinstalled them in the cadilac and still no sound? I dont know if it is the hu sub output or something that I do not know about I see that other people have had the same problem with this hu any suggestions?
Have searched and searched and found out a few things about this HU. One question for you. Are you powering your subs through 1 amp and if so what amp is it?? Firstly the sub output only goes from 0 to -14 which isn't very loud. Secondly, there is one write up of a guy that says, "Hi i also own a VM9312, and the way you make the sub louder is by turning it off. To do this, you go to settings, then go to audio, and turn the subwoofer OFF. This is really weird, but it worked for my unit." Sounds strange but worth a go. And have you got the brake override working. If you need instructions and code give us a shout. Sorry I can't help anymore at the moment.

Check the RCA plugs where they mount to the board and make sure the shield ground pins are not broken. If in tact a regulator might have failed not allowing power to the op-amps.
you've spent alot of money on **** by the sounds of it!!. you should only ever run multiple subs the same brand, power and resistance you can just connect any old subs to a system you need to wire them depending on the load that the amp needs to see. first thing is to try the amp/s on a individual sub to check your amps still work once done check the subs 1 by 1.
