This is a new unit used two weeks. The unit is dead...no lights on the front panel. The power cord is plugged in and power is at the input to the receiver. I suspect a fuse.

if you sent 110v down the speaker wires & into the amp you most likely have damaged the audio outputs or the output ic. Look for a big aluminum heatsing & on one side you may find 1 or 2 ic's or numerous transistors, the ic's are hard to check, the transistors are easier to check, if transistors replace in pairs. also check for burnt /open resistors near outputs

Does your subwoofer have a fault or amplifier? Try listening to the sub for a hum when the RCA input jacks are touched by your fingers. If it is your amp, check the bass management to see if you have activated the sub output. If it seems to be the amp and you have checked everything. Take it for repairs to a Yamaha service center.

Testimonial: "Thanks - I came to the same conclusion myself - hopefully something simple and not too expensive."
[1] Verify that the AC power cord is connected to the DCT*
and an AC outlet.
[2] If the DCT* is connected to a switched outlet on another
unit, verify that that unit is powered on.
[3] Press the POWER button on the DCT* front panel instead
of the remote control. The batteries in the remote control
may be depleted
[4] The DCT* may have received a software update and
may not power on while the new software is being
installed. Try again in a few minutes.
OK.
