Printer card transfer monitor problem..can you help me with this?

I have a lexmark x2600 all in one and on start up while trying to load a box pops up that says "error printer card transfer monitor has encountered a problem and needs to close"....i have removed and reinstalled the software several times and the problem will be fixed for a day or 2 and then the error message will return again....can you help me?

I get the same msg and the productivity studio won't work either. It started after a system restore. lexmark x5320.

I emailed Lexmark and they suggested it was a computer problem and not a Lexmark problem. Interesting that only Lexmark people are posting this message.

I have the same problem - I uninstalled Lexmark and reinstalled, but that didn't help... "printer card transfer monitor has encountered a problem....help - I want to use the productivity studio..

Same problem with Lexmark X7675. Printer won't work. USB port says it is a Mass Storage device--not a printer!

I had the same problem with my lexmark x4850 printer it just kept poping up I uninstalled the software and reinstalled it, it was doing the same thing. I just repaired my Microsoft Netframe 2.0 and it has gone away.

Hi, my lexmark x2600 paper load light keeps blinking. I think my daughter was messing with the buttons.

Try to remove all sheets of paper. Then unplug the power adapter from the printer. The power adapter is the black box behind the printer where the power cord is attached. Leave the other end of the power cord attached to the power outlet in the wall. Wait at least 30 seconds before plugging back the power adapter in the printer. When the printer's ready, load some papers and check if it's working fine now. Keep me posted by leaving a comment. Thanks.

What are proceedures for replacing print cartridges for Lexmark X2600 ink jet printer?

Perhaps the Lexmark X2600 User's Guide will be able to help you. To download it, click on this link: http://www.lexmark.com/publications/pdfs/2007/2600/v7649663_en.pdf. Scroll to Removing used print cartridges, Page 45, for instructions on how to replace print cartridges.

In some cases, the ink cartridge carrier won't position itself in the middle even when the printer is on and the cover is open. Just unplug the printer from the power source. With the cover open, hold the white tape in the middle inside the printer. The other end of it is connected to the carrier. Gently slide the carrier to the center. Load the cartridges. Close the cover. Plug the printer back to power source. Hope this helps.

I lost my disk that came with my x2600 all in one printer

The Internet is such a wonderful tool if used correctly. What you want to do is go to your start page of your Internet page. Mine is Firefox, very secure less pop up's. Type in the following, free download for lexmark productivity studio. Or just go to this link http://www.soft82.com/search/lexmark-imaging-studio/. Remember when you go to this web site be sure to bookmark it so you can got back to it. Hope this helps.

To get your printer to recognize the new cartridge; go to start - printer and faxes -right click on printer - preferences (printing preferences) -settings -load factory settings. Print test page Ctrl+P
