My Tunturi j800 is stuck in the incline position. Other than that, it works great! How can I get it down? The screen reads that it's at 0% incline.

SOURCE: Image 17.0 treadmill is stuck in incline position

Hello there, The first thing I would try is to calibrate the incline on the unit.
Do this using the following procedure.
With the safety key out, press the stop button along with the speed up button while inserting the safety key onto the unit.
remove your fingers from all buttons, Then press the stop button one time. Now press the incline up button one time.
The unit should go all the way to the top, then return to the bottom.
Remove the safety key and reinsert it to continue using the machine

If this does not work you can manually move the machine to the bottom using this procedure.
Remove the hood cover b removing 2 screws in the rear of the machine and removing the first 2 screws on the foot rails on each side.
You can now lift the cover out of the way.
At this point you will see the incline motor located in the center of the unit pointing in a downward direction.
On the top of the motor there will be a small fan encased inside of a metal cover. There will be a flat head screw located inside the metal frame where the fan is. Rotate this clockwise to lower the unit. (the motor is geared very high it may not seem as though it is moving but it is) be patient that procedure does take a little while.
Any questions please feel free to leave another message on this link.

Good Luck! Tim

The only way is loosening the screw or nut and making it back manually, but it is the right way to fix it, you should review the KEYPAD, specifically the down key. tries to do the following: turn it off and rub the area where the key now is turn it on again if it does not work with you to replace that part

Under the motor shroud their is a instruction mini manual it will have a how to calibrate the incline motor, if that does not fix it then you may have to manually adjust the incline motor and sometimes it will take awhile to realign . If that does not work replacing the motor maybe the only option

Hi i have a code E7 that show on my upper board in my tunturi t20 treadmill. dealer told me to change electronic lower board . i change the part and nothing change. do you know what is the problem? thanks...

Pull the connector off the incline motor off then connect (usually red and black thick leads) your multi - meter then select ohm X1 you should get a reading about 1.7 ohms. then check if the motor see if it is stuck. Then wrap a peice of cloth around the incline screw and with a pair of vise grip gently apply enough pressure to see if you can unstick that screw, reset your power and if the error code clears up, if not the VR control in the motor can be defective and you must rplace the motor.
If the reading show open I would suspect the motor is bad then again replace of the motor.
