Have 162d toshiba copier images are very light?

Sadly you're probably going to need one. That's the danger of having a machine without a Maintenance Agreement. Sounds to me like the developer or drum or both are worn out. PM, and PMs can be pricey without an MA.

Can not find drivers for e-studio 162 printer for windows 7

Go to http://www.copiers.toshiba.com/support/index.jsp# , click on "b/w copier" , select from the right e-Studio 162D and select the driver corresponding to the type of windows you have and the type of controller :
Identify the Installed Controller

The e-STUDIO162 Series can do GDI printing out of the box. It can do PCL printing if the optional GA-1170 controller is installed. The GA-1170 is attached to the back of the MFP and connects to the USB port. Postscript printing is available if the Postscript option has been installed on the GA-1170.

Good luck

How do you reset Admin on a Toshiba e-studio 162D

In the manual it says to "Turn on power while holding down the status button on the network expansion kit. Continue to hold down the status button until a beep sounds."

It looks like the default password was TOSHIBA which took me forever to find. The user name should just be admin.

NEW DRUM

joe, to replace the drum, you need to remove the cover from the front of the drum unit it has three locking tabs, one removed, take main charger/grid unit out, located on the top of drum unit, two screws one on each end. the drum is held in with a cam lock shaft located on the front of the drum unit, turn it couter clockwise, your drum can now be removed,it's recomended that you replace the cleaning blade also, two scews. you'll have to coat the new drum with toner and manually turn it against the new cleanig blade,if you dont the blade may flip and ruin your new drum.reassemble
